D-Link (Europe) Ltd.

About us

For nearly 30 years, D-Link has designed, developed and manufactured award-winning networking, wireless, storage, security and IP surveillance solutions. D-Link provides organisations with an end-to-end solution for the whole IT infrastructure and helps to securely deploy IP surveillance systems with the flexibility, scalability, performance and compatibility expected from a best-of-breed security vendor.

D-Link has a range of bullet, dome and PTZ cameras as well as the recently launched VMS software, which allows customers to centrally manage up to 128 network cameras.

Box Cameras

Available in HD and multi-megapixel resolution, D-Link box cameras can be mounted indoors with an included mounting bracket or outdoors with an optional outdoor enclosure. Since all D-Link box cameras used standard CS-Mount lenses, it is possible to replace the included lens with an extreme wide angle or telephoto lens. Because of their simple design, box cameras are easier to install, aim and focus. D-Link box cameras offer day / night functionality, SD card storage and two-way audio. Models with wide dynamic range sensors are also available.

Supporting up to 32 IP cameras, D-ViewCam™ is compatible with all current D-Link IP cameras and offers digital monitoring and recording capabilities of video, audio, and events for various security applications

Bullet Cameras

Bullet cameras are a variation of the box camera built into a permanently sealed weatherproof enclosure. They can be used indoors or outdoors without the need for additional hardware (a wall mount is included). Although the lens cannot be replaced, bullet cameras are often used because of their all-in-one design and attractive pricing. D-Link bullet cameras are available in HD resolution, offer day / night functionality and integrated infrared illumination.

Key Features:

  • High-Quality Video: The DCS-7513 is equipped with a P-Iris lens that controls the iris with extreme precision. Its built-in stepping motor maintains the Iris opening at an optimal level at all times, resulting in superior image quality, clarity, and depth of field. The remote focus function eliminates the need for manual focusing at the camera’s position and allows you to make adjustments remotely
  • WDR image enhancement: Provides improved image quality in environments with uneven or difficult lighting, so you can identify subjects that are backlit or in brightly lit areas. In low-light situations, the IR cut filter automatically slides out of the way to use all available light. The DCS-7513 is also built with IR LED illuminators with a 30 meter range, allowing the camera to function even in complete darkness
  • Connectivity: Built-in 802.3af compliant PoE module that eases installation by providing power and networking connectivity with a single cable, reducing the need to drill holes or lay additional cabling. In addition, the included digital input and output connector enables connections to external devices such as IR sensors, switches and alarm relays
  • Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) Profiles S compliant: The Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) is standards relating to open IP video networking. The DCS-7513 is ONVIF Profile S compliant and therefore interoperable with other manufacturer’s products on the same network such as cameras, storage systems, video analytics products and Video Management Systems
  • D-ViewCam™ for Management: The included D-ViewCam™ IP camera surveillance software is a comprehensive surveillance system designed to centrally manage multiple IP cameras. Supporting up to 32 IP cameras, D-ViewCam™ is compatible with all current D-Link IP cameras and offers digital monitoring and recording capabilities of video, audio, and events for various security applications

Dome cameras

D-Link dome cameras offer an aesthetic design wherein the camera, lens and cabling are hidden and protected inside of a domed enclosure. Available in both indoor and outdoor models, D-Link dome cameras offer an attractive protected camera for indoor applications and a rugged vandal and weather resistant design for outdoor applications.

D-Link dome cameras are available in HD and multi-megapixel resolution, offer day / night functionality, integrated IR illumination, two-way audio and integrated memory card storage.

Key Features:

  • High-Quality Colour Night Vision: Incorporating a highly sensitive CMOS sensor with LowLight+ technology, the DCS-6315 provides outstanding performance in low light-conditions, resulting in more vibrant colour detail regardless of the amount of light available
  • To maximise bandwidth efficiency and improve image quality, the DCS-6315 provides real-time video compression using the H.264, MPEG‑4 and MJPEG codecs, and supports three separate profiles for simultaneous video streaming and recording
  • Continuous Monitoring: The WDR image enhancement gives you improved image quality in environments with uneven or difficult lighting, so you can identify subjects that are backlit or in brightly lit areas. Built-in IR LED illuminators with a 15 metre range, allowing the camera to keep watch even in complete darkness
  • Flexible Connectivity: Built-in 802.3af compliant PoE module that simplifies installation by providing power and networking connectivity with a single cable, reducing the need to drill holes or lay additional cabling. In addition, the included digital input and output connector enables connections to external devices such as IR sensors, switches and alarm relays

PTZ cameras

D-Link PTZ cameras are ideal for live monitoring in situations where the user needs to actively track a person or object. The cameras can also be operated in guard tour mode where the camera automatically moves between preset positions. D-Link PTZ cameras come in two families. High-speed dome cameras feature endless 360° panning and up to 400° a second positioning.

Available in both indoor and outdoor models, D-Link speed dome cameras are excellent for live monitoring applications where robust camera control is required. D-Link also offers indoor PTZ cameras for desktop or ceiling mount applications. An optional outdoor enclosure allows the PTZ camera to be housed in a domed enclosure. D-Link PTZ cameras are also available in wireless models with an optional wireless outdoor enclosure.

Key Features:

  • Proportional Pan, Tilt, and Zoom Speeds: Makes it easy to precisely adjust the camera’s view. When the camera zooms in, the panning speed is automatically slowed to improve camera tracking and control. PTZ presets allow the camera to monitor specified areas along predefined paths. The broad tilt range from -10° to 190° allows the camera to see beyond the true horizon, meaning you can see more even when zoomed in
  • Built for Tough Environments: Specially designed for use in challenging environments the DCS-6915 has a toughened metal, industry-certified IK-10 (vandal-proof) and IP66 (weather-proof) housing. This means that it is able to withstand sudden high impacts, as well as adverse weather conditions. With its built-in heater and fan, the camera can operate in extreme environments at temperatures ranging from -40 to 50 °C (-49  to 122 °F)
  • High-Quality Video: To maximise bandwidth efficiency and improve image quality, the DCS-6915 provides real-time video compression using the H.264 and MJPEG codecs
  • Wide Dynamic Range (WDR): This technology merges two images, one with a short exposure time to capture detail in the brighter parts of the image, and one with a longer exposure time to reveal detail in the darker areas. The resulting WDR image provides natural, balanced detail – a must in critical surveillance applications with tricky lighting conditions
  • Removable IR Cut Filter for Continuous Monitoring: Can be manually applied, or set to automatically adjust based on lighting conditions. This feature enables the camera to capture crisp colour images during the daytime, and grayscale images in low-light
